dhenningcpa,
Thank you for your efforts on this. It seems as though Elementor’s Exit to Dashboard has been broken/wrong for a long time and then they fixed it? Why would an Elementor page builder user ever want to next go to a WordPress page edit that will destroy their Elementor page? Oh, well. Just need to retrain my self to not believe the Exit to Dashboard button.
Your idea of using the View Page is a good one, although it is still a new tab with editor page remaining open, but I usually do that anyway.Thank you for the workaround. That’s good to know.
I also found that on the same menu, under settings, I could click dashboard settings and get back. A few more clicks, but… Not as good as Finder though.
Thank you.
We all need to send a note to Elementor about this issue.I am having this same issue, using BlueHost – selecting “Exit to Dashboard” from an Elementor edit page returns me to WordPress Edit page instead of Dashboard, and if not careful and don’t select edit with Elementor, it will change the page to a WordPress native page.
I installed and activated the Classic-Editor plugin as mentioned above, but there was no change (contrary to the post above).
Any other ideas?
