In reply to: Assistance when WordPress is installed in its own dirRanday,
Which section(s) of the url do I need to do? If you can give me the title to the section(s) it will help a lot.
Thanks,

In reply to: Assistance when WordPress is installed in its own dirThank you for your response Randy. I was following the second link you gave:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory
Not the first link.
So that we are singing the same song…I am using GoDaddy’s new Plesk Windows server and have WordPress installed and built my site in the \Wordpress directory.I now need to fix it to run in the root web directory “\”. With your response, I need to use your first link:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress#Moving_Directories_On_Your_Existing_Server
to get things correct? I will do this and see where it leads me. If you have any further hints please feel free to give them.
Thank You,

In reply to: Assistance when WordPress is installed in its own dirAdditional: When you go to the domain http://www.aspinfosystems.com it shows a white screen. I have have no problem accessing all of my site if I use the full url of http://www.aspinfosystems.com/wordpress/. So I don’t think it is a plug in or theme. I made sure both were completely up to date. I have even renamed the web.config file to rule out it as an issue.

Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: White Screen At WebsiteI was able to get back into the site and the wp-admin today.
Moderator and Florian your input was so very much appreciated. The problem was the “web.config” file. I re-named it in GoDaddy’s File Manager so that it was not used and that fixed all of my issues.
Again thank you both for your assistance.

In reply to: White Screen At WebsiteI thank both of you for your assistance.
I have done as you instructed and it still shows a blank white screen. Not able to login as wp-admin or even see the page either.
I am a bit frustrated, but I will press on.
JoeForum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: White Screen At WebsiteI will do that.

In reply to: White Screen At WebsiteCan’t really upload the WP files since the hosting (GoDaddy) installs it from WordPress to my server. I develop my site on the server so there are no files of WP or my pages/images on my end to upload at all.

In reply to: White Screen At WebsiteI have done as you suggested and the results are the same. I am using firefox and when I go to inspect element it shows only the html commands for header and body but there is no other coding. It seems that it is empty.

In reply to: Media Upload Not AllowedContacted support again on this issue. Problem was fixed by marking the wp-content folder as R/W AND marking sub folders to inherit permissions.
Thank you for your time.

In reply to: Media Upload Not AllowedThank you Moderator for your input. I did find that thread and applied the actions to my site. The status didn’t change.
Now with that said, I am again contacting GoDaddy Support for the 5th time to give them the information contained in this link:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissions
I have not given up, I really can’t since the site is my bread and butter.
Thank you for your input though.
