OK, seems to be the fault of a plugin. I was using File Gallery that seems not to have been updated for a LOOOONG time. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable that I could suggest an alternative. I like the ability to have multiple columns, see the photos below the post, etc. I then have Shadowbox JS which seems to do a good job of being able to click through a gallery of photos if they are smaller sizes.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

    Aesque,

I am talking about how they show up on the website. On the last post that I made they weren’t too bad although they lost their captions, lost their borders and had no space between them. One photo that I added near the end of the post appeared as ONLY the caption arranged in a single vertical line. VERY strange. I solved that problem temporarily by copying the additional code inserted for the first photo in the post and changing the references for the desired image.

Here is the code inserted for the image that showed only the vertical caption:

    [caption id="attachment_1180" align="aligncenter" width="0"]<img class=”size-medium wp-image-1180″ title=”” alt=”” src=”http://www.dreaminginitalian.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/IMG_0161.jpg” width=”0″ height=”0″ /> Paolo and his new girlfriend[/caption]

I love File Gallery but have not posted for 3 months. I decided to start up again today and all the images come out crazy. I no longer get nice tidy columns of images that I choose, thumbnail, medium, etc. Now I get a really weird mix of things; different sizes mashed together and overlapping into the columns on the right as well. I can easily get in over my head but did notice that the “text” option shows a different structure. Prior posts (that still work fine) have (div) and (/div) before and after any paragraph.

Has anyone else had similar issues? Are there fixes planned? An alternative to File Gallery? I really like it and hope that it can be fixed.
