    hi esmi

    well, changing the permissions in the directory and changing them back worked for a few weeks, but now my media won’t upload again i get this:

    “The uploaded file could not be moved to /var/www/vhosts … wp-content/uploads/2013/04 “

    do i need to reset my permissions ever couple of weeks to avoid my media not being able to be uploaded to my blog, or is this a different situation altogether ?

    i’ll change them, and change them back.
    does the change back have to be right away ?
    i have a friend who does all my server side stuff
    and he get pretty busy …

    hi

    i am using 2.3.3

    i don’t have anything on the site now …

    but i did it before without a problem ..

    browse > upload from my hard drive
    edit >> upper field — full size
    i didn’t mess with the lower boxes that link the image ..

    so i did full size, just like before ..
    but this time it would only print the name of the image/s
    and if i drag / dropped the image into the text field
    (where i tried to upload it to )
    it is a thumbnail that i can “stretch” from a corner
    but it doesn’t look tight, just pixel’d
    unlike the actual image files which are large enough to be
    9 by 7 for example …

    oh, im on a mac, and using firefox if that matters …
