    Thanks Lyrathemes, I’m all set up with the child theme (your functions.php vega child code) and comfortable with updating. If there is any way you could summarize what to do it would be awesome. If it is using a particular bootstrap function (sticky or floating nav?) that could be disabled maybe that’s the quick route? If I can get code updates I’ll greatly appreciate. I feel like I’m very close to figuring out but need the last bits! I have the header.php and /parts/header-top.php in my child directory. If not I won’t be able to use the theme 🙁 UX and UI wise would be ideal to have that top menu bar with social icons constant. Would the Pro version provide for what I’m looking for and maybe a bit more support? I’m willing to pay to get this set. The rest of the theme is doing everything I need. Thanks for any advice, Jeff

    MANY THANKS Lyrathemes! I really appreciate your prompt response. I’m a developing developer and that helps a great deal. Will consider theme dependencies on future child themes. It works beautifully! Makes me want to look at your other stuff 🙂 Cheers, Jeff G
