I turned to Codeable for a fix. Not trying to promote them for more business or a personal benefit but Yoast really wrecked my website with the update and one of their experts was able to fix it.
Thank you Emily. I had to turn to Codeable to find a WP expert. A lot of it is outside my wheelhouse.
Ugh that sucks. Any alternatives or good freelancers who could just add that feature to author bios not using that plugin?
Here’s what a freelancer from Codeable had to say:
I think the issue has something to do with the WP_Query getting reset or changed so that ALM cannot do what it needs to do because the data is not correct.
Thank you for the response.

For a few weeks after I enabled your plugin it was capturing traffic numbers perfectly. Your previous update essentially created a problem where numbers weren’t being recorded for posts published after the update was enabled. You fixed the issue with a previous update. Well, your newest update created the same problem again. A screen grab wouldn’t really be useful because it will just show a half dozen posts without hits.
Thank you for the response. I don’t see that option for your plugin
I’ve published several new ones since the update and nothing as far as hits.
Essentially after I updated the plugin I was told to enable to cache option. After I did so new posts didn’t show any hits.
Sure of course. Thank you for the response. Actually how do I attach a screengrab?
That did work but is there a way to have them buttress alongside of text?
Thank you for the help with the rows

In reply to: [WordPress Share Buttons Plugin – AddThis] Adding Code to every pageThank you for the response and sorry for my late response. So I purchased the Pro version of AddTHis and they suggest two things:
Get The Code
Copy and paste the code below into your page, wherever you would like the buttons/tools to show up.and then some code and the second suggestion:
If you don’t have the AddThis script on your page, place the following code on every page you want your tools to appear.
I just don’t know where to add the code to my site. I’ve tried through the AddThis settings but to no avail.
Thanks for the assistance. I’ll having problems understanding the following instructions: (but if I just did the “Browser Cache” to prevent switching will I be ok?)
Go to the “Page Cache” settings under the Performance tab.
Copy the list of mobile user agents found in our list of “User agent list for configuring cache plugins“.
If you have added support for additional mobile devices in WPtouch Pro’s Compatibility > Custom User Agents field, you must also include those user agents in the “Rejected User Agents” area in W3 Total Cache.
Scroll down to the “Rejected User Agents” field and paste the list of WPtouch default user agents, adding one per line.
Save your changes.
Go to the “Minify” settings under the Performance tab.
Scroll down to the “Rejected User Agents” field and paste the list of WPtouch default user agents, adding one per line.
Save your changes.
Go to the “CDN” settings under the Performance tab.
Scroll down to the “Rejected User Agents” field and paste the list of WPtouch default user agents, adding one per line.
Save your changes.
Finally, go to the W3 Total Cache “Dashboard” and select “Empty All Caches”.Your site should now be configured correctly to work with WPtouch Pro and W3 Total Cache.
If you are running a version of W3 Total Cache released before version 0.9.2.9, you will need to add the wptouch-pro-view cookie in the “rejected cookies” area in the Page Cache settings.
