Thank you singer74. I had done all that – several times over, thinking if I undid it and then redid it etc etc. Even changed to image gallery and then back to thumbs – in that case, it did not change at all. It’s now set for 60 photos per page now since I cannot get it to paginate – this is not the solution I want.
@plugin author – I am using nextgen galleries, not the theme gallery. And I believe I have contacted support@photocrati and received no response.
I shuld mention, I am also using it on a client site and it works just fine. Same versions of WordPress and Nextgen gallery….
Actually – I got it to show more, but it will not paginate – so I still need help! I’d like to show fewer images on a page and have multiple pages, but can’t get it to do that.

I just installed pinboard in a test folder (test.ruxtondesigns.com) and am at a loss in several areas. 1) How can I make the footer text go all the way across the page? – or how can I add a widget to the right side of the footer? 2) how can I get the social media links in the header to open in a separate page? 3) Can I make the header image into a slider? 4) Any idea why the image I loaded via a text widget in the top right sidebar isn’t showing up?
I know that’s a lot, but you seem to have all the answers for this theme!

In reply to: child page not showing in nav menuEli, if you look at my 3rd comment above, you’ll I figured it out by editing the theme options page – changed the filter from 1 to 3 it seems (using editor>theme options.php). So long ago I can’t remember other than reading what I wrote. Good Luck.

In reply to: child page not showing in nav menuThanks Christine – I tried that, but it just put the child page label next to the parent page menu item horizontally. No place to ‘select a theme location’ that I can see.
So, I tried installing a plugin called Menu but couldn’t see how to customize that one either. So, problem still exists. Any other ideas?

In reply to: My blog has disappearedThanks – that led me in the right direction and it is fixed. In case this helps anyone else, here’s what happened: My OLD blog had its own directory/folder. When I changed themes, I imported the posts and no longer had a separate folder for ‘blog’, but I did not delete the folder. Recently I had a trouble ticket going with my server about an email list plugin that wasn’t sending out confirmations. From that time, my blog ‘went away’. Seems they did something at their end reinstating the old blog folder which had nothing in it. I deleted the folder and now all is well.
I just figured it out. It’s in the WP Settings menu! I was clicking on the Settings link in the plugin page – and got the following error message:
“You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”Thanks anyway (I had already seen the post you referred me to and had done that on the install.
Would still be nice if in the next upgrade you gave included some options for captions for non-post images (gallery pages built on nextgen).
