In reply to: Install.PHP: Database Error Table Doesn’t ExistHi Michael,
No, Anil’s fix does not work. It’s for a different version.
The code in the two files update.php files is totally different. There’s a problem in the install code that’s a show-stopper.

In reply to: Install.PHP: Database Error Table Doesn’t ExistHi MichaelH,
I did try the fix, and it got me to the installation page, but then when I tried the admin login, it gave me (with site name blanked out for security reasons):
PHP Warning: require(./wp-blog-header.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in C:\websites\********.com\web\index.php on line 17 PHP Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘./wp-blog-header.php’ (include_path=’.;C:\php5\pear’) in C:\websites\********.com\web\index.php on line 17
Very best,
Julian

In reply to: Install.PHP: Database Error Table Doesn’t ExistThank you, Michael. The problem is, how will I know if I have a partially installed WordPress installation because the proposed fix is out of date? (I’d hate to find out later that I’ve got a crippled version that has messed up the database.)
Any thoughts?
Very best,
Julian

In reply to: Install.PHP: Database Error Table Doesn’t ExistHi MichaelH,
Thank you for replying, but that was for version 2.6.1 or 2.6.2. I’m trying to install 2.6.5. Is it safe to do this on 2.6.5?
Thank you,
Julian
