Ok, I replaced my original backup files just to get my site back to working. I retried replacing the core files the next day and that fixed my problem. Thanks for the help!

I did everything and now the whole site is down. Getting this message

Warning: require(/home/readingedge/public_html/sa/wp-includes/load.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/readingedge/public_html/sa/wp-settings.php on line 21

Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required ‘/home/readingedge/public_html/sa/wp-includes/load.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/readingedge/public_html/sa/wp-settings.php on line 21

    Any suggestions?

I have decided to have someone do this for me. Can anyone recommend a reliable and safe provider that I can safely give my information to?

Right now I was looking at fiverr.com under WordPress support.

Ok, I went back in and deleted that file and it brought me back to my previous problem, when trying to get to the log in screen I get this message:

Warning: require_once(/home/readingedge/public_html/sa/wp-admin/includes/post.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/readingedge/public_html/sa/wp-admin/includes/admin.php on line 46

Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/home/readingedge/public_html/sa/wp-admin/includes/post.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/readingedge/public_html/sa/wp-admin/includes/admin.php on line 46

I disabled all plugins on FTP but that did not fix it.

**Before this I had a different wp-includes error in post.php:1 which showed up when I hit Log In on the admin screen. I read some related articles that suggested making sure the code ended in ?>. It did not so I changed it in notepad and replaced the post.php which then brought me to the error above.

I feel like I am going around in circles with no fixed that work. I havent been able to get into my admin panel properly for almost 2 weeks now.

It was not the pugins. This whole thing is a mess. I am now able to get into my dashboard. I re-downloaded WordPress and simply found the post.php file under wp-admin/includes folder and uploaded it to my FTP file that it was missing from. I am not sure if that is something that I am supposed to do but it seemed to work.

Now when I am in the Dashboard I can’t edit my pages. Each time I click on them it brings me to http://readingedgeacademy.org/sa/wp-admin/post.php?post=609&action=edit

    Any thoughts?

Any suggestions on this new error I am getting?

Ok, so I did that and it seemed to let me log in but then took me to a white page with this error:

Warning: require_once(/home/readingedge/public_html/sa/wp-admin/includes/post.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/readingedge/public_html/sa/wp-admin/includes/admin.php on line 46

Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/home/readingedge/public_html/sa/wp-admin/includes/post.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/readingedge/public_html/sa/wp-admin/includes/admin.php on line 46

When I view my website now I have the editor navigation buttons on the top but when I click edit, customize, dashboard, etc it will bring me back to the error screen.

Edit: the edit button brings me here for some reason:
