Well, I’d say thank you again, but I’m stuck just about exactly where I was to begin with. Guess I’ll try to open a ticket, and see if I get help from there.

Thanks for your reply, but the link you provide to the article gives a 403 Forbidden error. I did a search by the title & think I found the right one, & tried to follow the instructions I found, but I’m not even sure I’m reading the right article. I also found another article on redirecting using .htaccess, but I got confused as to which directory to make changes in the .htaccess file (root,e107, wp). The various things I’ve tried have been mostly unsuccessful, though I managed to get my domain name to bring up my site content using just the domain name (by itself, with http://www., http://, etc.), but again the unformatted HTML version. The links now lead to the actual posts instead of an error, so I think WP is working at least partially. Any attempts to access the admin panel or login either using the login link at the bottom of the page or typing various paths in the address bar bring up a 404 error above the page content, which is still there. I’ve also fiddled around with redirects some, but nothing helped (& might have caused additional issues) except to eventually get me to where I am now. I think maybe it’s now mostly be a theme issue, but without being able to get into the backend admin area, I can’t look at or fix anything with themes.

I have spent hours trying to figure this out, but I’m pretty clueless trying to diagnose where the problem is & where possible fixes should be applied. I think I probably need to open a support ticket, but before I do that I wanted to see if you had other suggestions.
