Okay, this has been resolved.
I thought adding my user ID number within the app settings enabled notification.
I had to click “settings” on the app inside one of my articles, and manually add myself there.
Then I started receiving notifications. That definitely was confusing to me.
I have.
I found my own personal Facebook user id number (thought the mechanism linked in the app doesn’t work). Once I entered that number in, I can see I am able to moderate comments on my articles.
I just don’t get notified on Facebook at all.
