In reply to: Can’t find .maintenance file in FTP or CPanelIf you have done a restore using some backup plugins. Then go into your WP-Root folder and check of theme-old , Plugin – old folders and delete them. This may also be a cause for the following message – Briefly unavailable for scheduled maintenance. Check back in a minute.
Other option is as below :
Additional step is to find the file called wp-activate.php in the root directory, find WP_INSTALLING parameter there and change it from true to false. This way:
define(«WP_INSTALLING», false);Then save the file and we’re done.
Kindly provide us an update once the issue has been resolved.
