In reply to: User prefers different interface language and themeI see.
So on WordPress,
one can have the _content_ magically presented in a choice of many different languages.
But the _interface_ shall be in one single language no matter what.
OK.
All I want him to do is allow English, Japanese, and maybe one other extra interface choice users can select in their account settings.
No I don’t want each article translated etc. Or ja.*.com, en.*.com fancy stuff!
Yes, they even bundled a RSS browser into it.
They couldn’t just let it be a optional plugin. The Linux kernel should bundle one too, else how could one keep
up with the latest kernel events :-(.Also one drags the content to each article from the database, even if
not going to show it.Also basic 304/Last modified is not implemented.

In reply to: Please review non-CSS ultra-minimal siteOK, now organizing the navigation with (HTML tag) DL. Font sizing tags
would detract from accessibility (e.g., lynx). At most can use the
STRONG tag, however now with DL, the contrast between linked text and
non linked text should be enough (for the lined Archives: and
Categories:).When you mention “font size, weight and family” I must remind you that
I am purposely not using any CSS, so all these are the browser
defaults for HTML. I am only allowing myself to choose among e.g.
STRONG, EM HTML tags.Post title, post category and post date:
but I did make them different: H2, unlinked, and linked text,
respectively. Why make user press the ‘older’ link so much?: Indeed, when spacebar
would be fine… OK, upping limit to 20 per page. OK, thanks.Forum: Plugins
