Hi marusic.
Thanks for letting us know about your issue. Unfortunately, the functionality you’re asking for isn’t available in this plugin.
Thanks,
JulkaHi princeofabyss.
Thanks for letting us know about your issue. Have you tried the Smart Layers by AddThis plugin instead of Share Button by AddThis? It uses different classes like you suggest.
Thanks,
JulkaHi Sazzadhussein.
I’ve clicked around on your site and I’m not seeing a new window created anywhere except when I click on a banner ad. Are you still having this issue?
Thanks,
JulkaHi Simonto.
Thanks for letting us know about your issue. On the settings page for the plugin, in the Sharing Sidebar’s style tab, you can specify whether the sidebar should appear on the left or right.
I hope that helps!
Thanks,

In reply to: [Customizr] order of extensions output after articleHi Goulu.
If you’re using Website Tools by AddThis, Smart Layers by AddThis, or Related Posts by AddThis, you can use built in filters to affect how soon or late the AddThis tools are added. The specific filters for that are:
- addthis_sharing_buttons_content_filter_priority
- addthis_sharing_buttons_excerpt_filter_priority
- addthis_recommended_content_content_filter_priority
- addthis_recommended_content_excerpt_filter_priority
The AddThis share button tools start at a priority of 17 and AddThis related post tools start at 18. Raising that number higher would add them on later, and lowering them would add them on sooner. If you don’t know the priority used in the other plugins, you can play with the exact number to see when it affects the order on your page.
Unfortunately, Share Buttons by AddThis does not yet have this feature.
Thanks,

Hi Oliver.
For the infinite scroll, try
addthis.layers.refresh()instead ofaddthis.toolbox('.addthis_inline_share_toolbox');.As for the issue with WPTouch, I’ve been unable to reproduce it. Could you tell me more about the type of unexpected behavior you’re seeing?
Thanks,

In reply to: [WordPress Share Buttons Plugin – AddThis] mobile share buttonsHi Karlagjini.
I’m able to reproduce your issue on iPhones, though the tool does seem to be showing up properly on Android devices. We’re looking into the issue further. I’m not sure how soon we’ll have a fix.
In the meantime if you want to resolve this ASAP, this issue doesn’t show up when using tools saved in an AddThis.com account instead of anonymously in WordPress. AddThis.com accounts are free and only require an email address.
If you want to stick with your current plugin and are willing to do a bit of extra work, you can do this from within the Share Buttons by AddThis plugin by moving the plugin into AddThis mode (Advanced Options >> I want to control my plugin from… AddThis.com) and then go through the AddThis profile setup (there’s a button on the same page). You’ll want to come back from setting up your account with a profile ID to put in the profile ID field.
You might have a better experience through the Smart Layers by AddThis though, as it won’t make you copy and paste a profile ID or leave your WordPress dashboard to configure tools. Just make sure to go to the “Home” page within that plugin and register the plugin (you can even create an AddThis.com account right from there, too). Then you’ll want to configure the Sharing Sidebar and Mobile Sharing Toolbar tools on the “Share Buttons” page.
Thanks,

In reply to: [WordPress Share Buttons Plugin – AddThis] Cannot validate for WCAG 2.0 AAHi jseth.
Thanks for letting us know about your issue. Unfortunately, this plugin doesn’t currently provide a way of turning this off. If you need this, I might suggest trying the Smart Layers by AddThis plugin. In the Advanced Settings page within that plugin, under Loading Options there is a checkbox labeled “Add XML Namespaces for Valid XHTML”. Unchecking that box should remove these XML namespaces.
Thanks,

Hi @engrmostafijur.
Thanks for letting us know about your issue. I took a look at your site, and I see that the sharing sidebar is being set up (and showing up) on pages for particular posts, but not on the vocalboothtogo.com/article/. Yet, it’s clearly enabled for all pages.
I have a couple suggestions for troubleshooting this:
1) Clear the cache for any caching plugins you may have. They may be caching an object that’s affecting this.
2) Try this plugin in AddThis mode. It requires an AddThis account, but that’s free and only requires an email address.
3) Try the Smart Layers by AddThis plugin instead. It has the sharing sidebar too.Let me know how it goes.
Thanks,
JulkaHi Ann.
Thanks for letting us know about your issue. I just tested this in a clean WordPress 4.7 install and I’m unable to find a page that shows code instead of the share buttons. Could you give me more information about where you’re seeing this? The post-overview page, is that the URL specific to one post, the preview page for a post while it’s being written, the customizer view for a particular post, the page that lists recent posts with excerpts, or perhaps something else? Is there a URL you could point me at where you’re seeing this? If you prefer to share privately, please feel free to email us at help@addthis.com.
Thanks,
JulkaHi SecGen.
Thanks for letting us know about your issue.
You’re not the first to report this issue but I’ve tested this plugin in multisite and was unable reproduce it. Any more details you could provide, like JavaScript errors on the page or failed network requests in developer tools, would be immensely helpful. If you’d like to share this information with us privately, please feel free to reach out to us at help@addthis.com.
Thanks,
Julka
