Thank you “AddWeb”!!
– I love learning more about CSS! Here’s one I figured out on my own (with F12 Developer’s help): .hestia-info p, .info p, h5.description{color:#333333;}– That didn’t fix the shallow contrast problem on ALL my text, but it saved me a little bit of embarrassment (my colleagues are all potential fans of http://contrastrebellion.com)
Thank you “Rodicaelena”!!
– I had HOPED there was some configuration thing I had missed. I have so much to learn about WP (and so much time, since I retired yesterday!)- This reply was modified 8 years ago by jfkelley. Reason: marking it resolved
I found and added this additional css:
a.vcard.author{ display: none; }Unfortunately, this leaves me with “Published by on <date>”
“by on” looks like a typo on my part. Sigh.
I saw something about some php for a “Child theme”, but I’m scared to mess with the theme right now (I just rolled this site out to mark my retirement from IBM and a lot of folks are looking at it over the next few days). I don’t know if I switch themes if there are configurations I’ve done that will be lost.
Can you say “newbie”?? 😉
