my homepage is already index.php and step 7 requires you to place /blog index.php into root folder, I have tried to place the code from the /blog/index.php into my homepage index.php and displays an error
7. Copy the index.php and .htaccess files from the WordPress directory into the root directory of your site (Blog address).
so would this only work if a webpage is .html based?
