In reply to: How can I change username in wordpress.orgYou can do this if you wish to change a nice user’s name, login name, email address or user password. I did it in the database many times.
You make those changes in the WP users table. Nothing else. Nothing else.
PS. Make sure you use MD5 on function in the phpmysql window when you change the password here
