Thanks guys – My hosting provider helped me set up gzip & browser caching properly and it’s much better today…. even with the plugins running again. This website business is tricky, but I’m learning all the time. Thank goodness for these forums though… I really appreciate your help! 🙂

Thanks both! Toth, I did a speed test and saw that was very slow, the unfortunate thing is I have NO idea what it is! I had mailchimp activated but have turned off now and it did not help.
Esmi, I have deactivated all plugins and returned to the default theme and it still does not help.
I will try resetting the plugin folder now and see if that helps.
Also, my dashboard is EXTREMELY slow as well not only the actual website…..
