I’m using the twenty fifteen theme. If I use an image from my media library, it will use the featured image as the size it is, not the theme default.
The concept of your plugin is great. I’d like to be able to set the size to what the image is for external images, too. If there were a way to do that, your plugin would do everything I need.

I found the problem. The plugin Remove Redundant Links was the conflict. The plugin works fine with the theme for normal viewing. If you use it, just deactivate it during DMS editing.
