In reply to: Twenty eleven monitor/browser scaling. The website is for a project for a real estate company.
I would like that it atleast shows decent on for example on iPad or iPhone. It does indeed not matter that much if it doesnt show good on an old computer.

In reply to: Child theme not overriding parent CSS.@esmi , thank youf or the information.
I don’t know if your good at CSS but I am really struggling here with some problems.
What I am trying to fix at this moment:
1) Menu bar alignment to the left so it lines up with the left text.
2) The menu colors hover & clicked have a gradiรซnt to it in other browsers but IE
3)Center gallery (next Gen), looking that up atm.
4)fixing the Z-index to 60 instead of 9999 for header & menubarForum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: Child theme not overriding parent CSS.@esmi another question, I have been installing plugins should I be carefull with this or copy this also so it does not get bad after automatic updates? Or does plguins not auto update?

In reply to: Child theme not overriding parent CSS.Ok I have uploaded an default twenty eleven CSS, and now if you go to foto’s and click on one you can see my problem.
And as far as I found the Z-index should fix this but I can’t seem to do it in my child css.
And the other problem I have is that, I was trying to get my menu when clicked/activated link to stay red and not go black again when you over over
Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: Child theme not overriding parent CSS.@esmi , ok thank you I will do that first and try to seek help to fix it in the child CSS.

In reply to: Child theme not overriding parent CSS.@esmi, hmm I don’t know all the z-index I changed. Can I copy the default parent css on the FT?
@wpyogi I was trying to make the gallery “foto” work, when I did not edit the parent theme “z-index” the pictures were below the menu & slider
So when it did not work in the child, i changed all the z-index on the parent.
