I had the same problem when moving WP to a new server. When I re-activated and enabled the “All in One SEO” plug-in, my visual editor and kitchen sink came back.
Having similar problems on WP 2.8 in that when I click the icon, it lets me browse to the image and select it, but when I click upload, nothing happens. No error or anything and the image does not go into the uploads file.
Have tried the following-
-deactivating plugins
-going back to default theme
-downloading latest version of flash
-checked miscellaneous settings for uploading files, it was fine
-tried in both firefox and safari on my mac
-also doesn’t work on colleague’s pc
-right clicking on icon and opening new window
Still having the problem.
Any ideas??
