Thanks again. This may be an unrelated issue, but one I’ve never noticed before. When I’ve reached the “now logged out” screen, I can still access the admin pages without entering credentials simply be using the “back” button. If I close the window, I am truly logged out, a new window requires password, etc. If these seems like a different issue, I will investigate it separately.
With those conditions (deactivated SU, enabled updraft, and WP_DEBUG remaining enabled), it logs out like “normal”, no error message and no blank screen. It displays the typical “You are now logged out” window.
Thank you for your fast response!
It looks like a compatibility issue with updraftplus. I deactivated that, left Shortcodes Ultimate active, and was able to log out/log in normally. Here is the error message with exact folder location X’d out:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 41943040 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 30720 bytes) in xxxxxxxxxxxxxx.com/wp-content/plugins/updraftplus/includes/class-job-scheduler.php on line 80
I don’t mind leaving updraft plus deactivated, I only use it occasionally, but would welcome any further insight.
