This seems to be a pretty common problem. Niqua416 if we get a resolutioin, it might be helpful for the WordPress gods to add a special faq or report section featuring all the manifestations of this problem along with all of the fixes.
In addition to saamarthtech’s help request above, the WYSIWIG editor shows up but the editor’s toolbar icons do not display making it difficult to format the post copy (link insertion, text formatting, etc).
