However, using the events calendar from http://heirem.fr/category/plugins/events-calendar/ I can at least link events to another page, or anywhere else. This way I can set up a sign up sheet that can at least be linked to the calendar. I hope that helps a little.

It offers a widget that you can install so that your children pages only show up on their parent pages. It is very useful if you don’t want a million pages showing up on your homepage.
