Thank you for the follow-up. I discovered there was, indeed, a server restriction, so I activated an external cron service to hit the URL.

Although I primarily use WP self-hosted, my question was for using Coraline for a client at WordPress.com. I hadn’t noticed I was bumped over here to WP.org forums.

I’ll look for a WP.com forum on the theme.

Those errors came from my server’s error log, and they haven’t appeared again. They all came from 174.127.132.165. I did a reverse DNS lookup, and the record shows: “Adaptive Spider Technology.” Hmmm.

I will assume they were an anomoly and mark this closed.

For anyone reading this: conclusion is that plugin is still fantastick, and this problem was external.

I deactivated TB, deleted the files, and then reinstalled and reactivated on that one blog. It still appears to be doing the same live query (rather than a pull from cache).

Perhaps something else I’m doing?

I’d been using it per site.

So, I did 2 things, and one of them resolved the issue. (Wish I’d only done one at a time …)

First, I’d created an /archive/ directory within wp-content where I’d placed prior versions of plugins during replacement. An old version of BCNXT was still in there. Perhaps it was still being called. I deleted that directory.

Second, I deactivated and deleted the plugin, and then reinstalled for the whole network. No errors, and working fine.

One of those actions resolved the issue.
