I havn’t added mod rewrite and don’t have a problem with permalink… so havn’t seen the need to hack mod rewrite – as long as you use the correct format for your permalink (easily set-up in the admin panel) it works just fine for me? can someone correct me?

I have now managed to get WordPress to run on two seperate Windows 2003 Machines – so if you have difficulties post a question. The only thing not covered in the how to are file permissions.
