    Hi

    I delted the previous child theme and created a new one.
    Now the blog page works but the main navigation is not working at all as you can see online.

    I only copied the previous style.css and saved into a new child theme which I now called twentytwelve-child.

    Any idea why the navigation is not working properly?

    The blog page it is now working?

    Hi

    If I deactivate all pluins th eproblem persists.

    But when I switched to the default theme Twenty Twelve, the dedicated webpage for the blog was there!

    I now swtiched back to my child theme and the problem is still there.

    Hi

    I have inserted the codes for debugging into the wp-config.php file but no debug.log was created.

    I am using ‘static front page’ and a ‘posts page’ under ‘dashboard – settings – reading’

    I have also checked the template files:

    for the “home” page the template is set to “Default Template”

    for the “blog” page, I cannot see the option to set which template file to use

    I don’t indicate any template file. Under the section “page attributes” and i have the “no parent” option.
