It sounds like doing this will increase the page loading time – unless I’ve misread your post? Would it be better for me to just set up the variations with the transistor already built into the main variation, i.e. have no variant 3?

It works, it’s in my menu for people to click, but when they click on the parent category from the menu this one subcategory isn’t there. There’s definitely products assigned and you can see them when you access the category through the menu link.
