ok, so is there a way I can just change the permalink for the site back to http://www.uniteddivas.com without using the control panel? is that stored in the database somewhere? or a php file? or a css file?
clayton james – that is a very old blog that i posted, which is separate from the blog I am referring to. that one is working just fine. great detective work finding the other blog though!
scribbler guy – thanks. I think I definitely messed it up when I changed the link to the url for the blog & site and my arbitrary “/“. I was still logged in when I did that, so that was how I was able to get to a post page afterwards before I noticed the loop back to the login page. I will try your suggestions out once I get to the office in a bit. i hope this saves me from starting over on this one!
