I had contacted our host about this Warning! msg and also described that I was having issues getting Super Cache to work. They responded back that Super Cache requires WP to be on a UNIX server… whereas our account/website is on a Windows server… which is news to me.

OK — I’m not using WP as a blog… but as an e-commerce website.
Do you mean just launch the website without the wp-admin system running?
I checked the source code and I don’t see any ‘time-stamps’ — ??–
BTW: I’ve also noticed this !Warning! msg: …wp-content is writeable! in the wp-admin system. Is this related to the install of Super Cache..??..

… anybody..??.. help..??… need to get this e-commerce site up & running but can’t go live with a 7-12 sec response time. I really need this Super Cache to work.
