Hey Ben,
I understand what you mean and have accomplished what you suggested – however I don’t understand how this is any different from the Beaver Builder post widget.
This URL is to the theme controlling the post page – http://jamiewhiffen.co.uk/blog/
This URL is to Beaver controlling a page that has the post widget – http://jamiewhiffen.co.uk/read/
They are effectively the same except that the Beaver URL I have added the banner at the top. Looking at both of how these posts are laid out its done from the post tab from the dashboard which is the exact same for both the theme and beaver. It offers me no more or less flexibility.
What I am trying to do is have the header text on the left hand side whilst having the date and a small piece of text side by side in the one blog post as seen on the website I linked previously. (https://www.garyvaynerchuk.com/blog/)
Do you know how to do that within the post tab? – https://gyazo.com/30ae874f317a0ba71a2a73ef0d367c7c
I feel like we are making progress with every single post back and forth haha. Nearly there! Thanks,
Jamie.
Hey Ben,
Thanks for your help on this I appreciate it a lot and its great to be making some progress!
I have created a new page called blog and have changed the settings as you said which has published all of these temporary blog posts I’ve created. This is exactly what I want however I can’t see the content I have in these individual blog posts, let alone in that specific design.

As you can see here the content itself has been pushed into it’s own section that you have to push ‘Read More’ to access.
Any ideas?
Thank,
Jamie.
P.S. I can’t access Beaver Builder from this page, is that a sacrifice I have to give up to be able to construct this new design?
Hey Ben,
Thanks for the reply, as a student who is trying to make a website for my own personal use and not to sell anything the premium version is out of my price range.
It’s a shame because I’ll most likely have to leave Beaver Builder for another plugin to help me as its very limiting without the standard or pro versions.
I possibly could be swayed to buy the $99 in future if the website was deemed as a useful asset to myself but right now I have no idea of knowing that – it also isn’t great that the price point is so high for only one year of support. I understand that many business who can afford these prices do use it yet there is a very large untapped audience out there that would happily pay to get access to more of Beaver’s tools yet we are lost due to the pricing.
I hope Beaver Builder reconsiders in future.
Thanks,
Jamie Whiffen.

In reply to: How to create a more detailed blog post page? The blog template comes from posts from wordpress. I change the order and size of the assets in the edit post box.

It’s just trying to get the words to fit in that order inside of this box is a hard thing to do.

In reply to: How to create a more detailed blog post page? This is interesting! However it doesn’t help me sadly as I’m using the Beaver Builder plugin and not the theme.
The theme I am using is the Tesseract theme by https://tyler.com/ in conjunction with the plugin. This really long video seems to cover every topic except what I need haha. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WXWXVcnmsao
Thank you for your continuous help its great to be able to get a response and help from someone. 🙂

In reply to: How to create a more detailed blog post page?Hey Karks88,
Thanks for the quick response! Beaver Builder offer no support to their users unless it’s the Pro version which is out of my price range unfortunately.
I’m not sure where else to go from this point onwards. If you look at my ‘Read’ section on my website I have Beaver’s blog attached and it works however I cannot get it into the format that I would like.

Any ideas from yourself or anyone else?
