As you can see the top image is the user roles and the bottom image is what I see in the author panel – there is other users on the site who can all publish posts fine it’s just I can’t seem to change the ownership of a post to them.

In reply to: [User Role Editor] Unable to change author of WordPress PostI’m using the latest versions along with the latest version of WordPress. I only have an extra two authors who were both the basic subscriber role however I gave them permissions to publish articles which works fine. It’s just I can’t manually change an article to their name.

In reply to: [User Role Editor] Unable to change author of WordPress PostHi, The problem only occurs when the User Role Editor plugin is active. The box which contains the author drop down shows at all times, however when the plugin is active the dropdown box within the author box just hides completely. I’m not sure if I need to add additional roles to the users however they can publish posts normally.
