I guess the issue is resolved. It would be nice to have the tables render properly on mobile browsers, but I do understand that the situation dictates that this can’t [for the moment] be done.

Hi Tobias,
I hope you’re well. Did you manage to take a look at my issue/case? FYI I used your plugin “TablePress Extension: Responsive Tables”, and can now get the page to load on smart-phones/tablets. The thing is that the TablePress tables do not render at all.
Can TablePress be made to display the tables which I created on these devices, or is this simply not possible?

@ dpeters: Unfortunately it’s not working with the theme that I’m using. [Enfold]. When I remove the Tablepress tables, the homepage renders fine on my phone. [And all the other devices that I’ve used].
Can anyone help me?
