Sorry for a late reply. I fixed the issue by installing Enable jQuery Migrate Helper (https://wordpress.org/plugins/enable-jquery-migrate-helper/

Your first suggestion for some reason pointed to the home page. The second gave me a syntax error.
I have changed the button wording to “Recruiters” – 🙂
