Hi @dosyhost,
Since the submissions that failed the captcha verification and encounter validation errors are not submitted, we do not have a way to keep a record of these entries.. I’ve made a note of the feature request and we’ll keep it on our radar as we plan out our roadmap for the future.
Thank you for the suggestion!

Hello @willslane,
In WPForms Lite, we have a built-in anti-spam option which is enabled by default in the form builder > Settings > General (see screenshot here).
We also have integration with Google’s free reCAPTCHA service. In case it helps, here’s a detailed tutorial on how to set up reCAPTCHA in WPForms.
And if you’d prefer not to use reCAPTCHA, you can consider the third-party plugins such as WordPress Zero Spam or Spam protection, AntiSpam, FireWall by CleanTalk which work out of the box to protect your forms against spam.
Hope this helps!
Hi @emanueleci,
A possible workaround for this is to add a Single Text Field to your form and set its default value to Page URL which will result to the
{page_url}Smart Tag: https://a.supportally.com/U6OyfkThen in order to hide this Single Text Field in the frontend of the site, you can add a class
hideto the field then add this custom CSS on your site:.hide { display: none !important; }And in case it helps, here’s a tutorial from WPBeginner on how to add custom CSS like this to your site.
Hope this helps!

Hello @karl1966,
Our apologies for any confusion but WPForms Lite entries are not stored in WordPress and only exist in the email that is sent.
If you’d like to learn more about form notification emails, here’s our tutorial with all the details: https://wpforms.com/docs/setup-form-notification-wpforms/. In Lite, you’re able to set up one notification email — however, you can send this one notification to as many different email addresses as you’d like.
While our Lite plugin isn’t able to collect or store entries in any way beyond sending out the email, some hosting providers do log emails that are sent out from the sites they host. So if you need to try and recover undelivered emails, the best next step in trying to find records of previous entries is to contact your site’s hosting provider to ask if they do this.
I hope this helps!

Hello @andrei0luca,
Currently we don’t have the feature to preselect the a dropdown option based on the ID of the page. However, I’ve made a note of the feature request and we’ll keep it on our radar as we plan out our roadmap for the future.
Thank you for the suggestion!
Hello Amanda,
Thanks for writing in!
As a starter, can you please follow the steps in this troubleshooting doc and see is any option fixes the issue?
In case the issue persists, would you mind mentioning if you have any customization done in your forms? This will help us know in case there might be something in the customization that could affect the default WPForms functionality.
Thank you.
Hi @elliotmch ,
Thank you for contacting us!
You can absolutely change the confirmation box color, and this will just require a bit of custom CSS. I’ll share two options below:
1) If you’d like to remove all styling from the confirmation, you can use the CSS snippet here.
2) To only change the background color, you could use this CSS snippet:
div.wpforms-confirmation-container-full { background: #ffffff; }The hex value above (#ffffff, which is white), can be changed to any color you’d like. If you’re not sure what hex value you need, here’s a color/hex generator I like to use: http://htmlcolorcodes.com/.
In case it helps, here’s a tutorial from WPBeginner on easy ways to add custom CSS like this to your site: http://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-easily-add-custom-css-to-your-wordpress-site/
I hope this helps!

Hi @jhimross,
Based on the error messages you are getting, it looks like some of the files were corrupted perhaps when you did an update.
Can you please login through S/FTP, then go to the directory
wp-content/pluginsthen find the directorywpforms-lite. Download the entire directory for backup purposes then delete it.Once deleted, please log back into the admin area and go to WP Admin > Plugins and reinstall WPForms then activate the plugin.
Please feel free to let us know how it goes.
Hello @lauramelos,
Can you please create a new post and include the specific error messages you are getting as it might not be the same issue as the original poster of this post. This would also help us avoid further confusion. Thank you.
