Hi @ffsdnm,
You should not lose your current forms when you do the process I mentioned in my previous response. However, it would still be best to keep a full backup of your site before doing the steps I mentioned, just in case you’ll need them.
Thank you.
Hi @perlfan,

Hi @ffsdnm,
Thanks for writing in and our apologies for the trouble!
Based on the error message you are getting, it looks like some of the files are corrupted when you did the update which caused the issue.
To solve this, please take a full backup of your site. Then, login through FTP and navigate to the following file path
wp-content/plugins/. Once you’re in the plugin directory, delete the wpforms-lite folder. Log back in to the admin panel and go to the plugin’s page and reinstall WPForms.I hope this helps and please feel free to let us know how it goes.
Hi @raisperhar,
I apologize, but I’m not sure I understand your question. When you get a chance, could you please share more details, or possibly an example of what you’re looking to do?
Thanks!
Hi @justinsmith19,
I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with email delivery.
To troubleshoot the issue, you can check that your form notification settings are configured correctly by following our tutorial.
If your notification settings are correct, the issue is likely because the emails sent from WordPress are not authenticated (unlike emails sent from dedicated email service providers). As a result, they are likely to be filtered by the receiving mail server.
To resolve email delivery issues like this, you can configure a SMTP plugin on your site so that emails are sent as authenticated. We have an article with a list of recommended SMTP options and links to their setup tutorials.
I would also like to mention that WPForms Lite does not have the feature to store entries. Because entries are not stored, they will not be available even when you upgrade to the paid version.
While our Lite plugin isn’t able to collect or store entries in any way beyond sending out the email, some hosting providers do log emails that are sent out from the sites they host. So if you need to try and recover undelivered emails, the best next step in trying to find records of previous entries is to contact your site’s hosting provider to ask if they do this.
I hope this helps.
Hi @pivtrek,
I took a look at the form and I believe I see the issue with the checkbox/radio button styling. The WordPress theme is changing the browser’s default appearance for checkbox/radio button inputs and that’s conflicting with WPForms styles.
To address this, we need to make a small CSS tweaks, which I’ve included below:
.wpforms-container input[type=radio] { -webkit-appearance: radio !important; -moz-appearance: radio !important; appearance: radio !important; } .wpforms-container input[type=checkbox] { -webkit-appearance: checkbox !important; -moz-appearance: checkbox !important; appearance: checkbox !important; } .wpforms-container input[type=radio]:checked:before, .wpforms-container input[type=radio]:before, .wpforms-container input[type=checkbox]:checked:before, .wpforms-container input[type=checkbox]:before, .wpforms-container input[type=radio]:checked:after, .wpforms-container input[type=radio]:after, .wpforms-container input[type=checkbox]:checked:after, .wpforms-container input[type=checkbox]:after { display: none !important; }In case it helps, here’s a tutorial from WPBeginner on easy ways to add custom CSS like this to your site.
I hope this helps!
