Update: Talked to GoDaddy support again, and was also advised to move my site to Linux. Apparently, WordPress just runs better on it.
Also was informed that this error typically has to do with permalinks. Was advised to reset permalinks to the default structure, save it, then change it back to the desired structure, and save it again.
Hope this helps.
Hey guys,
An update from my end – talked to GoDaddy support, and they also told me to rename my web.config file to web.config.disabled.
It worked for the first couple of weeks, but now it’s happening again. I’ll try migrating my site to Linux and see if it helps, will let you guys know if it worked 🙂
Thanks for the tip @jenga123!
I am having the same issue. 🙁 Were you able to fix this at all?
