this is a problem with Disqus and should be addressed with them; they have it in their plugin not to execute on is_home() || is_front_page()
So, Disqus users and mods, is there any way I can get around this coding?

In reply to: Missing Comment SectionAfter temporary switching to the Twenty Fourteen theme, I noticed that the comments section is only on for 1 of my posts. The rest have it missing for some reason.
