    thank you very much for the thorough reply!

    I tried it out and nope, that unfortunately did not work out. I even tried the global “ignore trailing slashes” option but it didn’t matter.

    I guess our setup with changing away from example.com/postname to something more complex is the culprit.
    If you’ve got any idea how to solve this besides waiting for the end of permalink migration feature’s beta period, I’d gladly try it. Btw: do you have an ETA for that?
