for me too it fixed it by just re-putting a widget in the sidebar
Somethign must be savign *somewhere* ’cause though they don’t show since i keep trying with the category “test” it says
“The category you are trying to create already exists.”
Here’s a snapshot of what i get

The categories field is empty but i can’t create it either. Maybe something with permissions?
