I gave up – no official reply in over 6 days- I now use WP Snapshot which is much easier and works straight out of the box

In reply to: Author not showing on posts under post title.No joy – it just doesn’t appear with the other information. I’ve tried 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. It doesn’t appear with any of them.
The only plug in I have installed is Add Link to Facebook but I have tried deactivating that, and still no Author listed.
I have tried a new post, and again, no author.
Is there a setting for this?

I publicise my blog on facebook (as I would imagine most people do), but when people comment on facebook, the comments do not appear on my WordPress blog. That means I have two streams of comments to reply to. I want WordPress and Facebook comments syncing so that I only have to look at comments on one place.

If someone comments on facebook, it does not sync with comments on my WordPress Blog. Am I trying to do something impossible – Have I misunderstood something. Please someone help me. I can’t find anymore plug ins to try. Funny thing is I am sure I had this working once. Arrrgh – I am desperate
