I was looking at the “customize your search page” support on WP — won’t let me customize it that much, eh?

oh, and to check. I need to go from 1.0.2 to b2 6.x?

I can’t just go from 1.0.2 to 1.2?

umm, i’m in the same boat and I’m also having server trouble. Here’s my question:
instead of upgrading three times (1.0 -> 1.2 -> 1.5 -> 2.0), what if I just install 2.0 and start afresh with the same look and feel.

is there any way I can get the archive in 2.0 to reflect and also _search_ the previous archive? Does this make sense?

I have enough disc space to run both databases at once.

Essentially, I’d like to do a fresh install if i could also get 2.0 to look up the 1.0 archive when it does a search.
Would that work?
