https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-themes/twentyeleven/de/formal
Renaming both files to the exact file name of the current language files on my server, uploading them and thus overwriting the old files.
Result: My only “German” language option is now formal.

please excuse my delayed reply and thank you for these pieces of information. Right now, I understand that I can manually import the tables by running a certain function (I assume, I can update not only all existing tables at once but just certain tables this way if I prefer, can’t I?).
At this moment in time, I am not yet realizing my idea using your plugin and extension but I am pretty sure this will be the case sooner or later. When this time comes, I surely will get back to you with a fair donation for your plugin and its “Automatic Periodic Table Import” extension.

You’re right, just saving the auto update config to trigger an update would be a possibility, although the auto update time would then switch to the new time (from 11pm to 11.15pm in this example). Any way to trigger the auto update process without the time switch?

I can’t delete any records. Show the “are you sure?” message but no button to confirm.
But also, his workaround works for me:
Click on the date (data was a mistake) link at the beginning of the record, and from there you can delete it.
