  • Update to my above post. Issue solved. I raised the error log and the error related to exceeding memory allocation. Memory has now been tripled.

Hi, a few days ago I successfully updated to the latest WordPress version (I think it is 5.4.1) and then started to updated the plugins. They seemed to have updated, though it had been slow and started the process again. Then the site crashed while updating 2 themes. The error message is “There has been a critical error on your website.
Learn more about debugging in WordPress.”
One other error message that appeared only a couple of times and not since, was Error 500, but the recurring message is the first one. I tried going to wp-config.php and changed the DEBUG option to ‘true’instead of false, plus added the DEBUG log and set it to ‘true’. The website remains down. https://menabglobal.com
Thank you for any help to resolve this. I paid for premium support with my hosting provider but they checked the wrong website which I already knew was working fine, so I would love to solve the issue if possible to avoid waiting up to another 3 days.
I appreciate your help, thank you!:)
