Thanks Otto – you are a real trooper!

In doing some reading last night, now I’m wondering if the template I’m using isn’t compatible with widgits. A friend set the whole thing up for me and I realize now that I do have a sidebar already with a calendar, links, etc. All I wanted was some music and maybe there is a more simple way to do that?

Thanks for hanging in with me. 😉

To back up, I uploaded the Sidebar and Sonific Songspot widgits and activated them. What do I need to do next to be able to work with them? I don’t see “Sidebar Widgit” on a tab at the top under presentation. Sorry – I’m totally lost I fear.

I’m sorry for trying your patience. I wasn’t kidding when I said I was a novice.

My tabs at the top say Themes then Theme Editor. No Sidebar Widgits. Sounds like I need to back up a bit. Maybe you could direct me to a place where this is all broken down into easy to follow steps?

You probably don’t put it in the plugin editor. Try putting it in the Widget itself. Go to the Presentation->Sidebar

K – I followed you this far. I don’t know what a “widgits page” is tho.

Drag the widget to the sidebars, and then click the config button next to that widget.

You totally lost me here. Sorry. I don’t see the widgit where I could drag it anywhere and I don’t see a config button. Thanks for being patient…I normally can catch on pretty quick to things…
