The best way is modifing the uploads directory as you desire. Changing the name of the directory ‘uploads’ is recommended to improve security for your site as well.

Hi,
The changes are related with link behavior. I had some redirections that worked fine before, but now some redirections doesn’t. I suspect that could be related with post names because of aggregation of [:es]post name[:]
