One more thing, is there a way we can let this user role view Orders without being able to edit them? I can get the Orders to come up on the user role if I activate edit_others_shop_orders. This allows full editing though. Ideally we would just like the role to be able to view only.

Thanks for the reply. We did add this custom capability and assigned it to the user role. However, it did not change anything. The user role we created only gets access to view/edit products if we grant the access to “manage_woocommerce”
