I can see now the portfolio thumbnails size on gallery is 345×258. You should configure the portfolio thumbnail size here
Nimble Portfolio -> Configuration -> Nimble Portfolio -> Default Skin Settings -> Thumbnail -> Thumbnail Size
The size of thumbnail should be (Width in Numbers)x(Height in Numbers) with no space i.e: 640×640

On single portfolio page, it’s using 690px image not full width image so you need to create child theme to show full width image on single portfolio page.
