In reply to: YouTube videos have disappeared from my siteYes, thank you! The problem was in my browser. I had added a couple of add-ons that blocked my videos. When I received your answer I opened up my site in IE & Chrome and all was well. I narrowed the problem down within Firefox and all is resolved. Thanks so much for responding to my problem, it is greatly appreciated!

In reply to: emedded pdf displays as html instead of imageThis is a new problem I am having. I run my website on WordPress 4.1 platform, 2014 Theme. Something very quirky happened within the last 2 or 3 days. I’ve noticed that all my embedded YouTube videos no longer display on my website. The website is http://www.greenwichneighborsunited.com. My content sidebar shows the titles but not the actual video. I am using the “Display You Tube Videos” plugin but I have also used the text widget to embed video but it also displays only title but no video. As was stated before, I am a newbie and I’m doing this site as a labor of love for a non profit. I am completely stumped and like before, the more I search for the answer the more it seems like I’m the only one with this particular problem (although I find that hard to believe!).
Lorro, you were particularly helpful with my last problem, perhaps you could shed some light on this predicament! Thanks to all in advanceForum: Fixing WordPress

Through contentiskey I learned of a service that will be of benefit to me to use in the future and it was through you advice, lorro, I was able to come up with the solution and all is well now. Thanks to the both of you for adding to my “toolbox”, I really appreciate it!Forum: Fixing WordPress

In reply to: emedded pdf displays as html instead of imageThank you for your suggestion however no matter which plugin or means that I use to attempt to display a PDF file in the post, it appears in the form of HTML code not an actual display. I was wondering if it could be a compatibility issue with another plugin? Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Instead of the file displaying an image it renders as an html code. I hope you can shed some light on this, because this occurs whether I use Google Doc Embedder or if I attempt doing it manually, I get the same results. Thanks
