Thank you for your detailed explanation.
WooCommerce plugin was causing for this problem. Plugin reseted the admin permissions to guest user. I was able to login with alternative admin name and to contunie my work I have created another admin accounts. I left the old admin account as is. It is always better to have the second admin account for such cases.
